NRG Stadium Houston is home to some of the biggest sports and entertainment events throughout the year. Over the past year, NRG Stadium took it up a notch hosting additional major events such as the NCAA® Men’s Final Four® college basketball tournament and three straight nights of concerts from iconic singer Taylor Swift.
Texas Outhouse was there every step of the way, reliably providing portable toilets and handwashing stations in parking lots and central gathering locations inside NRG Park near the stadium.

1. Houston Texans Home Games
If you made it out to NRG Stadium for a Texans home game during the 2022 professional football season, you saw our portable toilets and handwashing stations on-site at NRG Park.
We strategically placed units in parking lots to support tailgaters, adjacent to fan zones to support parents and kids, and near ticket entrances to give everyone one last pit stop before putting on their game face to cheer on our hometown Texans.
We look forward to even more victories for the Texans during the 2023 football season!
2. Houston Rodeo Cook-Off
The Houston Rodeo Cook-Off has grown into one of Houston’s premier events on the annual calendar. Taking place just before the start of Rodeo season, this year’s Cook-Off ran for three days in February 2023.
This year, more than 250 BBQ teams competed in the 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest. And there were a total of 214,903 guests on-site during the contest. We provided portable units to support everyone who was at NRG to compete and enjoy amazing food from around Texas.
3. Let’s Rodeo, Houston
It’s been an amazing 91-year run for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Every night from Feb. 28 to March 19, patrons had access to our portable toilets and handwashing stations while they visited the fairgrounds, played carnival games, enjoyed food and drinks, took in live shows, and walked into NRG Stadium to see each night’s event.
All told, the Houston Rodeo brought in more than 2.4 million guests. We proudly maintained clean, accessible units for every attendee throughout the 23-day event. We cannot wait for next year’s Rodeo!
4. NCAA Men’s Final Four
Houston was named this year’s host of one of the most prestigious sporting events on the annual sports calendar, the NCAA® Men’s Final Four®. There was a very quick turnaround from the Rodeo to the Final Four, which was held just a few weeks later on March 31 – April 3.
We provided portable toilets and handwashing units to support fans from around the country who came to Houston to take in the spectacle of college basketball’s final set of games to crown a new champion. We are looking forward to the next time Houston has the opportunity to host this amazing tournament!
5. Taylor Swift x3
There were so many amazing live performances during the Houston Rodeo from some of the greatest entertainers in the world. If concert-goers didn’t get enough, they had the opportunity to see Taylor Swift on three straight nights from April 21-23.
Soon after the confetti fell to conclude the Final Four, NRG Stadium was transformed into a large-scale concert venue to host Taylor’s “The Eras Tour.” Taylor sold out all three concerts, drawing an estimated total crowd of 216,660 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Throughout the weekend, we provided portable toilets and handwashing units around NRG Park to ensure that Taylor’s fans could enjoy the concert experience – whether they went one night, two nights, or all three nights!
